Tuition
Introduction
At Pathway Nexus Group, we offer flexible, trauma-informed academic tuition for learners aged 5–18 who are not currently engaged in full-time education. Our tuition strand is ideal for those in Elective Home Education (EHE), PRUs, care settings, or learners at risk of disengagement or exclusion. We deliver subject-specific tuition in line with the national curriculum, tailored to each learner’s needs, pace, and goals.
Subjects We Deliver
Our tutors are qualified professionals, including former teachers and SLT members, who
have experience working with vulnerable or hard-to-reach learners.
We cover core subjects across Key Stages 1–4:
● English
● Maths
● Science
● History
● Geography
● French
Tuition is delivered 1:1 or in small groups, with a maximum of 5 learners per
session to ensure impact, attention, and progress.
Our Delivery Model
We deliver tuition:
● In learners’ homes (where safe and suitable).
● In PRUs and alternative provision settings
● Within care homes or supported accommodation.
● In dedicated community or education spaces we provide.
All sessions are:
● Structured and consistent.
● Planned to meet each learner's ability and academic level.
● Focused on progress, re-engagement, and positive routines.
● Supported by weekly tutor feedback and end-of-term progress summaries.
Optional Add-On: Digital Skills
For learners who also need functional IT support or digital confidence, we offer an optional
Digital skills add-on, covering:
● Online safety and responsible use
● Functional IT (typing, email, research)
● Workplace readiness tools (spreadsheets, documents, presentations)
● Basic coding or digital projects where appropriate

Tuition can be commissioned as a standalone service or as part of our blended
education model, which integrates tuition with mentoring, PSHE, life skills, and
digital development.
